What this website uses
The Merchavelo marketing site does not set advertising cookies or analytics cookies. It includes the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon to measure visits and page performance without an analytics cookie. Cloudflare also processes technical requests to serve and protect the site and provides hosting traffic statistics. That processing is described in our website privacy notice.
Saved browser preference
When you save “Necessary only,” the site writes merchavelo-cookie-preferences-v1 to your browser's local storage. It contains a preference version, the necessary-only choice and a saved date. Its purpose is to remember your decision. It is not an advertising identifier and is not sent to us. Clearing site data removes it. If storage is unavailable, the controls still work for the current page, but the notice may appear again.
Who sees the automatic notice
The notice appears automatically when Cloudflare identifies the request's continent as Europe and no valid preference has been saved. It does not appear automatically for other regions or when the region is unknown. This is approximate network information, not GPS location; a VPN can affect it. The website does not infer your location from your browser language.
Settings are available everywhere
Use “Cookie settings” in any page's footer to open the same settings, wherever you are. Necessary functionality stays enabled. There are no optional advertising or analytics cookies to turn on. If we introduce optional tracking in the future, we will update this policy and the controls before using it where consent is required.
A regional notice is not a claim that privacy obligations apply only in Europe. We handle requests under the applicable law regardless of whether you see the notice.
