Who is responsible
Zentara LLC operates the Merchavelo marketing website. For a privacy request or a question about this policy, email support@merchavelo.com. This policy covers the website and enquiries. App privacy covers installed Shopify apps.
Information we process
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical requests to deliver and protect the site. These can include an IP address, requested URL, time, browser information, response status and approximate country. Cloudflare supplies operational traffic and security statistics. We use those statistics to understand site availability. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a JavaScript beacon that measures page views and website performance. Reports include pages, referrers, browser and device categories, approximate country and performance measurements. Cloudflare describes this service as cookieless and says it does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. We do not use it for advertising, individual profiling or cross-site tracking. The landed-cost calculator runs in your browser. Its entered quantities and amounts are not submitted to us, stored by the calculator or attached to traffic statistics. Contact links open your email application; the website has no account registration, checkout or newsletter form.
If you email us, we receive your email address, the message and any attachments you choose to send. We may also receive a business name, store URL and project details. Do not send passwords, access tokens or customer records in an initial enquiry.
Purpose and legal basis
We use enquiry details to answer your request and discuss or provide a service. Where GDPR applies, steps you request before a contract and performance of that contract are the relevant bases for service correspondence. Our legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable website support proportionate technical traffic processing. Applicable legal obligations can require retaining business records. We do not use enquiry details for an unsolicited marketing mailing list.
Regional notice and browser preferences
Cloudflare supplies an approximate continent for the incoming request. Our regional endpoint returns only whether that continent is Europe, another region or unknown. We use this to show the cookie notice automatically in Europe. We do not store the endpoint's continent result in a visitor profile or request precise location. Recipients and international processing
Cloudflare provides hosting, delivery, security and technical traffic statistics. Our email providers process correspondence so we can receive and reply to enquiries. Information is not sold. Providers may process technical or email data outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where required, transfers must use an applicable lawful safeguard. Hosting this site on Cloudflare does not mean every request is processed only in Europe.
Retention
We retain enquiries while needed to respond, manage an agreed project, resolve a dispute or meet applicable recordkeeping duties. We assess the purpose and relevance when deciding what to retain. Provider logs and statistics are subject to the provider's service and retention settings; we do not maintain a separate identifiable website-visitor database. A browser preference remains until you clear site data, replace the saved choice or its format changes.
Your choices and rights
Contact support@merchavelo.com to request access, correction or deletion of information you sent, or to raise an objection or ask for restricted processing. Portability and withdrawal of consent apply where their legal conditions are met. We may need proportionate verification before providing personal information. Where GDPR applies, you can complain to your local supervisory authority. Other applicable privacy laws may provide additional rights.
